WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 6 & 7, 1996 DEFENSE INTELLIGENCE AGENCY:
DIAC BUILDING The DIA JIVA Integration Management Office, the
Intelink's Collaborative Computing Tools Working Group (CCTWG), the
National Imagery and Mapping Agency/Office of Research, Development,
Test, and Evaluation (Formerly the National Exploitation Lab), and the
National Security Agency are sponsoring a Fall 1996 Collaboration
Conference Series. The final Conference of this three-part Conference
series, DIA Industry Day: Collaboration Requirements Exchange, will be
held on Wednesday & Thursday, November 6 & 7, 1996 at the Defense
Intelligence Agency DIAC Building. This event's focus is on the
intelligence analysis and production process, and its analytical,
cognitive tools which support collaboration technology. The two-day
event will present speakers' views on the current status of analysis
and production process, and its future environment in the Joint
Intelligence Virtual Architecture (JIVA). The agenda will provide a
first-hand opportunity for Industry to garner feedback from users,
including military and civilian, while sharing their knowledge in
emerging collaboration technology. In addition to the conference
portion of the event, a Technology Exposition will take place on the
first day of this 2-day conference, November 6, 1996, with products and
services relating to Collaboration and associated technologies. Some
technologies of interest are: integrated collaboration tools, audio
teleconferencing, shared applications, Internet publishing, document
delivery, video teleconferencing, group authoring, Internet security,
interoperability, connectivity, World Wide Web productions, software
collaborative products, intranet, virtual rooms, electronic meeting
software, and much, much more. All Intelligence and DoD Commands,
Analysts, Technologists, IT Managers, Engineers, Managers of entities
preparing to adopt collaborative initiatives into their environment,
computer professionals, various agency educators and instructors,
