CRETIN (520) 328-6348 (Site Code DAAD01) Yuma Proving Ground has a requirement for the construction of a Pre-Fab Insulated Metal Building 50' X 90' X 12' with an overhead door 10' X 12' and other doors and windows. The work will include grade leveling and surface preparation of the site(approximately four acres), concrete foundation and floor, and erection of the building. The contractor shall also install four 5-ton roof mounted HVAC units, an automatic vent system with hydrogen detector and interior electrical wiring. Approximately 2,000 feet of chain-link fence will be installed around the area by the contractor. The site of the work is approximately 30 miles north of the town of Yuma, AZ and 40 miles east of Hwy 95 over maintained gravel roads. The estimated value of the work is between $100,000 and $250,000. It is anticipated that a contract will be awarded toward the end of December. Completion is required by the end of March 1997. Any comments on the feasibility of this schedule will be appreciated. This requirement is set-aside for participation by small business concerns. However, in the event that there is not a fair and reasonable bid from a responsible, responsive small business concern, bids from large businesses will be considered without resolicitation or resynopsis of the requirement.
