Standing order anticipated 01 Nov 96 through 30 Sept 97, having a base period and four renewable one year options for Lab reagents. A sole source award to Wampole Laboratories for Cat#50C5 Pediatric Isolator tubes, Cat# 50C7 Adult Isolator tubes, and Cat# 50C9 Isostat Microbial. Items must be compatible with a Becton-Dickinson Bactec 9000 system. These items are to be delivered to Microbiology Lab at NNMC, Bethesda, MD. Delivery of these items will be coordinated with department. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
