This notice constitutes a broad agency announcement as contemplated in FAR 6.102(d)(2). The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Office of Space Science (OSS), is releasing an Announcement of Opportunity (AO) AO 96-OSS-03 ''Hubble Space Telescope (HST) to Propose Flight Investigations for the 2002 Servicing Mission.'' Participation in this program is open to all categories of organizations both domestic and foreign: industry, educational institutions, nonprofit organization, NASA Centers, and other Government agencies. NASA is interested in receiving proposals for scientific investigations that use the Hubble Space Telescope and for which flight instrumentation must be developed. NASA anticipates selecting one or two instruments to be placed aboard the Hubble Space Telescope during a servicing mission visit in 2002.
