The National Naval Medical Center has a requirement for the Laboratory Medicine Department, Bethesda, MD to award a maintenance agreement for the preventive maintenance and repair of 82 microscopes (various manufacturers) located in the laboratory department. Period of this contract would be from the date of award through 30 September 1997 (base year) plus four option years. Maintenance agreement to include two maintenance inspections per year, unlimited emergency calls, travel and labor. Repair parts shall be included as a separate item and billed at the manufacturer's current list price. This action is restricted. Proposed issue date of solicitation is 20 October 1996. Anticipated award date is 1 November 1996. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by this agency.
