This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Medical Records Coding service for the Patient Administration Department at NNMC. This service will be performed on-site for inpatient records, all diagnosis and procedures are to be coded to include dates of procedures. In patient record coding consists of narrative summary, operative reports, pathological reports (if applicable), physicians orders, and any other pertinent information. Estimate of 8000 records to be coded during this period. The period of performance will be 01 Nov 96 through 30 Sep 97. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. This acquisition is being conducted under the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The award will be made in the form of a purchase order.
