This project is unrestricted - open to large and small business concerns. The services required include the provision of all labor, supervision, materials, supplies and equipment to perform all operations of the solid waste collection and disposal function, which includes the collection, storage, treatment, processing, and final disposition of garbage, refuse, and other discarded solid wastes, resulting from residential activites, from Government and Contractor owned container, as specified in the solicitation. Excluded are hazardous wastes and solids, sewage plant sludge, and other pollutants in water resources such as silt and dissolved or suspended solids, and biological/pathological wastes. All recycleables shall become the property of the Contractor. The resultant contract will be a combination firm fixed price/indefinite quantity contract. The contrcat term shall commence within 30 days after notice of award and shall be for a period of 12 months (one year), with Government options to extend the contract term. The total duration of the contrct, including the exercise of any options, shall not exceed 36 months (3 years). The work shall be located at Naval Weapons Station Earle, Colts Neck, NJ.
