The Purchasing and Contracting Branch at Marine Corps Combat Development Command, Quantico, VA has a requirement for commercial travel services (bus, train, air, lodging, and rental care) for the northeast region of the United States, to include states of VA, PA, MA, WV, NJ, CT, NH, MD, ME, DE, RI, VT and NY. Estimated travel per year $4.0 million at Quantico, VA, $3.4 million for Washington, D.C. (northern Virginia area). There is no history to provide estimate for the remaining 12 states. The use of the contract may be phased vice all locations commencing service at the same years. The phasing may be up to, but not limited to, 2 to 3 years. The phasing will be determined by the discount offered. If discount is less than currently being offered to Quantico, Quantico would not use regional contract until December 1998. Commercial Travel Office (CTO) services to commence 1 April 1997 for a twelve (12) month period and four (4) twelve (12) month options. There is no guarantee the Government will require services in every state listed. Solicitation M00264-97-R-0001 to include four (4) one (1) year options will be available approximately 7 November 1996. The computer reservation system used in this solicitation shall be unbiased and capable of displaying different options of U.S. Flag carriers. This is an unrestricted solicitation.
