Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to demolish two (2) abandoned light structures in 3 ft. of water at Braddock Bay, reset two (2) light structures in eight (8) ft. of water in Irondequoit Bay and provide new steel bracing for (2) Irondequoit Bay Light structures. Location of light structures is north of Rochester, NY on Lake Ontario. The estimated range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The SIC Code assigned is 1629. Due Date for Bids will be approximately 30 Nov 1996. (Actual work cannot be performed until Spring.) NOTE: This job was previously advertised as Solicitation DTCG83-96-B-3WF293 and cancelled after bid Opening due to a unreasonable prices. Scope of work has been increased. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provides accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $5000,000.
