Z -- REPLACE BOILERS IN BUILDINGS 753, 754, 755, 751 AND 7157 SOL DAKF23-97-B-0001 DUE 111296 POC Contract Specialist Debbie Rapp (502) 798-3123 (Site Code DAKF23) Remove existing boilers and install four (4) Kewanee Boilers, Classic III B, model L3S-100-G with 15 PSI and one (1) Kewanee Boiler Model 3R1-KG factory packaged 30 PSI water-3 pass wetback, natural gas burner with on- off firing, Government furnished. Remove and reinstall all objects that are an obstacle to the removal or reinstallation of new boilers, piping, conduits, electric panels, etc. Pick up new boilers from the DPW compound located at 16th Street and Ohio Avenue. Install new boilers and reconnect all utility lines complete as per written recommendations of boiler manufacturer. The contract shall furnish all required materials to replace boilers complete. All materials (furnished by contractor) such as pipes, flanges, gaskets, bolts, nuts, etc., shall be of the same grade, schedule, thickness, strength and compositions as the existing or as recommended by boiler manufacturer. The period of performance is 30 calendar days. Forth coming contract will be firm-fixed price. The estimated range for this project is $25,000 to $100,000. This acquisition is issued pursuant to the ''Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988'' and subsequent award will be subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Therefore, this solicitation is Unrestricted. For the purpose of determining Small Business size, SIC 1711, for this acquisition the average annual receipts of a concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years must not exceed $7 million.
