D -- TRAINING SUPPORT FOR INFORMATION MAPPING METHODOLOGY FOR IRM POLICY RE-ENGINEERING PROJECT SOL 97-IRMPED REVISED DUE 112596 POC Contracting Officer, Brian Long, (202)260-2173 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to procure on a sole source basis the services of Information Mapping, Inc. (IMI) to provide training and technical support services to the EPA Information Resouces Management (IRM) Policy Re-Engineering Project staff and EPA managers on the use of the Information Mapping methodology, a proprietary product of IMI. The EPA has already invested in the IMI proprietary methodology which provides for a research-based process for organizing, condensing, formatting, and clarifying visual presentation of information such as that contained in policies, directives, procedures, or other written material. IMI is the sole licenser of Information Mapping Seminars and Consulting Services. The IMI method is unique and Information Mapping principles are uniquely integrated to provide the benefits inherent in the Information Mapping Method. The period of performance will be approximately nine months from the issuance of a purchase order. No solicitation document exists. Responses to this synopsis must be in writing, no telephonic inquiries will be accepted.
