AN/USQ-82(V) DATA MULTIPLEX SYSTEM (DMS) EQUIPMENT AND COMPONENTS SOL
N00024-97-G-5208 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to
extend the ordering period of Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA)
N00024-94-G-5211 with Rockwell International Corporation, Autonetics
Electronics System Division, 3370 Miraloma Avenue, PO Box 3105,
Anaheim, CA 92803-3105 for a period of one year. Orders will be issued
on multiple occasions over the period of one (1) year BOA extension
for the receipt, opening and inspection, disassembly, repair, overhaul,
replacement and testing of AN/USQ-82(V) Data Multiplex System (DMS)
equipment and components from DMS field changes installed aboard DDG-51
and LHD-1 Class ships, from AN/USQ-82(V) Fiber Optic Data Multiplex
System (FODMS) equipment and components, from DMS/FODMS engineering
development/test modules and trainers, and from DMS/FODMS Maintenance
Assistance Modules (MAMs) and Installation and Checkout kits; and
related data. Rockwell International is the system designer/developer
of the AN/USQ-82-(V) DMS/FODMS. It is the only company which possesses
the knowledge and experience to perform the tasks described. No other
source has the technical qualifications and necessary resources to
perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or
services satisfy the Navy's requirements. Authority for other than full
and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Companies interested in
