The Office of Personnel Management, Washington, D.C. intends to issue an RFP that will lead to the single award of a fixed price contract for Security Guard services supporting the Office of Employment Services in Macon, Georgia. The contractor will be required to provide management, supervision, manpower, patrol vehicle, equipment and supplies necessary to perform security guard services as described in the solicitation. The contractor must be licensed to make arrests and carry weapons. This action is a recompetition of an on-going service originally awarded by the General Services Administration. The existing contract will expire on March 31, 1997. The resultant contract will be awarded for a base period with four one-year option years. The period of performance for the base contract period will be from the April 1, 1997 through September 30, 1997. A preproposal conference will not be held. This procurement will be conducted as a set aside for small business concerns. The SIC Code for this requirement is 7381. To be considered as a small business, the firm's maximum annual receipts can not exceed $9 million dollars.
