Title, number of pages and language(s) of the notified document: Amendment I (14 pages) to the Commodity Board of Ornamental Plants (PVS) Order Containing Quality Regulations for Flower Bulbs 1996 (various products), as distinct from Amendment II (4 pages) to the Commodity Board of Ornamental Plants (PVS) Order Containing Quality Regulations for Flower Bulbs 1996 (gladioli, lilies, narcissi). 6. Description of content: Amendment I provides for quality regulations with regard to two new plants (Hyacinthodoidus and Nectaroscordum) and a number of other amendments to the Order Containing Quality Regulations for Flower Bulbs 1996 (PVS). In Amendment II to the Order, the previously existing system with regard to gladioli, lilies and narcissi (which was cancelled when the Trade Directive was processed) is once again restored. 7. Objective and rationale: The PVS Order containing Quality Regulations for Flower Bulbs requires to be adapted in line with new developments. 8. Relevant documents: Industrial Organization Act 1954, Implementation Act of the Commodity Board for Ornamental Plants and the Agricultural Quality Order with regard to flower bulbs. 9.
