National Weather Radio transmitters at five locations in North Carolina. Maintenance will be required on narrow-band, VHF-FM transmitting equipment (100-1000 watts) on one of seven frequencies, ranging from 162.400 to 162.550 MHz. Contractor shall furnish all specialized tools and test equipment used in the maintenance of VHF-FM transmitting equipment. Period of performance is January 1, 1997 through September 30, 1997 with two one year options. FOB point is DESTINATION. The Standard is 100% Industrial Classification Code is 8999. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. A firm is a small business for the purpose of this requirement if its receipts for the preceding three fiscal years is less than $5.0 million.
