Potential offerors should possess technical capability to perform weapons and ordnancesystems support; operations analysis; industrial engineering; integrated logistics planning and support; logistics support analysis; supply administration and planning; operation and maintenance support; information management support; managementsupport services; and general administrative support. Anticipated period of performance consists of a one-year base period and four one-year option periods, commencing 01 October 1997. Estimated level of effort is 117,800 hours base period; 100,700hours option periods I and II; 98,800 hours option period III; and 91,200 hours option period IV. Contract effort will be controlled through issuance of Technical Direction Letters (TDLs). Source selection is being conducted under greatest valueprocedures. Evaluation criteria include technical approach; key personnel qualifications; past performance quality; and cost. Separate volumes for technical and cost proposals are required. Technical approach is equal in importance to total cost.This procurement is being offered to the Small Business Administration (SBA) under its competitive 8(a) procedures. All responsible offerors participating in SBA's 8(a) program under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 8711 are invited torespond to this presolicitation notice.
