Q -- PRE-EMPLOYMENT AND FITNESS-FOR-DUTY PHYSICAL EXAMINATIONS. SOL 7049 POC Almeta A. Dixon, Contract Specialist, (202) 324-4527. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is issuing a solicitation for Pre-Employment and Fitness-for-Duty Physical Examinations. The FBI requires complete physical examinations to be conducted by a physician, Board-Certified in internal medicine, preventive medicine, occupational health, or family medicine, and a Board-Certified cardiologist to conduct treadmill exercise stress tests, SPECT thallium, and/or stress echocardiogram testing in accordance with the criteria set forth in RFP-7049 for FBI Offices in the following locations: Baltimore, MD; Boston, MA; Washington, D.C., Headquarters; Newark, NJ; New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Los Angeles, CA. Successful offeror will be responsible for providing both the physical examinations and cardiology services. The Government contemplates the award of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Firm Fixed Price type contract as a result of this solicitation. The minimum guarantee dollar amount for each location for the one year contract period is as follows: Baltimore, MD $5,000; Boston, MA $5,000; Washington, D.C., Headquarters $5,000; Newark, NJ $5,000; New York, NY $25,000; Philadelphia, PA $10,000; Los Angeles, CA $10,000. Multiple awards are anticipated by location. Contingent upon availability of funds, the contract period shall be from the date of award through 9/30/97, with four (4) additional one (1) year options. The tentative release date for the RFP(s) is 11/5/96. Requests for solicitations must be submitted in writing and postmarked no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of this notice.
