Amendment 0002 to the RFI document is designed to accomplish two objectives: first, to provide feedback to industry as to the present thinking of the FAA regarding the conduct of the NISC follow-on acquisition, based in part on industry input to previous questions, and second, to ask additional questions of industry that have been generated through the continuing evolution of the NISC II acquisition strategy, statement of work, and/or evaluation methodology. This is not a request for proposals. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Availability of any formal solicitation will be announced separately. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes ONLY, and this announcement does not constitute a contract or an offer to contract by the Government of any kind. This RFI is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Interested parties in the NISC Program are assumed to be capable of accessing the RFI through the internet. Amendments will be posted to this internet site as they occur.
