Court security services for the protection of the Federal Judiciary facilities in the 5th Judicial Circuit (E/LA, M/LA, W/LA, N/MS, S/MS, W/TX, N/TX, E/TX and S/TX). The contractor shall provide at a minimum, qualified court security officers (CSOs) that have successfully completed federal, state, county, municipal or military law enforcement academy training and that have a minimum of three (3) calendar years experience as a certified law enforcement officer with arrest authority, background investigation and physical fitness requirements. Resulting contract will be an indefinite quantity contract with one base year and four option years. All options will be evaluated for award purposes. To be considered for award, the contractor is required to submit an offer on all facilities within the 5th Circuit. Only written requests for solicitations will be honored, and shall include the business size classification of the requestor. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Services are expected to commence on or about October 1, 1997.
