As a follow-on to the General Services Administration's (GSA) July 10, 1996, industry briefing, the GSA is hereby formally inviting all interested parties to attend a Customer/Industry Exchange Meeting on Thursday, October 31, 1996, at the GSA Auditorium, GSA, 18 & F Streets NW, Washington, DC 20405. The briefing will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m., Eastern local time, with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m. It is anticipated that the meeting will conclude around 5:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to provide an avenue for GSA card customers to hear industry practices, issues and concerns regarding seven broad categories: Data Capture; Delinquency Management; Streamlining Government Operations; Business Case for Industry Participation; Electronic Data Exchange and Reports, Emerging Technology, and Industry's Viewpoint on Government Requirements. The meeting is open to all interested Government and industry parties on a first come, first serve basis. Due to limited space, we ask that you limit the number of attendees to no more than 2 per group. Please note, because of the current procurement action, the fleet card program is not included in this round of briefings.
