SOL DAAD01-97-R-0003 DUE 120296 POC Contract Specialist BECCI LARSON (520) 328-6163 (Site Code DAAD01) USAYPG intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Eastman Kodak Company, Motion Analysis Division, 11633 Sorrento Valley Road, San Diego, CA 92121 for the acquisition of 2 each HSV High Speed Video Cameras (HSV- 500) and 1 spare cable. There is also an option for 2 additional HSV-500 cameras and 1 spare cable. All high speed video camera systems shall consist of Color camera, cable, video recorder with built-in cart, operation control unit, cassettes, camera case, monitor, operator manuals, and be equipped with IRIG-B processor, NTSC Viewfinder (monochrome), and a 25 meter cable with compensator. Eastman Kodak is the only source known who can provide continuous record time of 3 minutes or more with a frame rate of at least 250 frames per second in color at 350 lines horizontal resolution on standard S-VHS or VHS. All interested parties who believe they can competitively provide the high speed video camera systems described herein are invited to provide clear and convincing evidence demonstrating their ability to provide these camera systems.
