The magazines required are scholarly journals in the Biotechnology, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering disciples. The contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, equipment, facilities, materials, and supplies to place orders for foreign and domestic magazine subscriptions with publishers, pay invoices received from publishers, provide centralized receiving and shipping site for subscriptions, place claims for non-receipt of individual issues, and perform all other requirements of the contract. The contract period shall be effective 1 January 1997 or date of award, whichever is later, through 31 December 1997 with four one-year option periods.
