Library of Congress intends to renew its software licenses to provide
registered users with SAS mainframe and personal computer software from
the SAS Institute, Inc., Box 8000, Cary, NC. The licenses include the
following packages: OS SAS-R, OS SAS-R/GRAPH, SAS-OR, SAS-ETS, SAS/FSP,
SAS-AF, programs are run on Amdahls 5995-4550M, SASC Compiler (run on
IBM 3081), SAS-PC DOS, SAS/IML, SAS/ETS. Programs run on IBM mainframes
and PC workstations. All products are described in the SAS catalog
which is available from the SAS Institute. Must provide equivalent
statistical analysis programs, graphical display capability and
reporting capabilities. Response will be evaluated on the costs of the
required software and any costs required in converting existing
systems to other software capable of performing user requirements.
Offerors must provide sufficient technical documentation to demonstrate
the capability to satisfy the requirements, complete pricing including
all charges, one copy of their GSA contract (if applicable) and
delivery time (not to exceed 30 days). No solicitation is available,
therefore, request for such documents will be considered invalid
