SOLICITATION NOTICE--The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment to construct a new hydrant fuel system consisting of a partially enclosed metal pumping shelter containing 600 GPM pumps, 600 GPM filter separators, flow and pressure control valves and associated equipment; an attached control room with instruments, motor control center, and automatic programmable microprocessors; a 4,000 gallon underground product recovery tank; two new 10,000 BBL operating storage tanks; approximately 12,000 lineal feet of 8'' to 16'' stainless steel pipe; a stand-by emergency diesel generator with associated equipment and tank; two new truck fill stands; fiberglass hydrant and isolation fuel pits with aluminum covers; concrete valve and isolation fuel pits with aluminum covers; concrete and/or asphalt removal and replacement for aircraft parking apron replacement; demolition of two existing fuel pump houses rinsing and capping off and abandoning in-place old fuel piping; removal and restripping of airfield stripping; area lighting and incidental related work. This is a firm fixed price contract. The estimated construction cost is over $10,000,000. Contract duration is approximately 450 calendar days. The standard industrial code is 1623 and the related small business stndard is $17,000,000. This proposed acquisition is unrestricted.
