Kay, Contracting Officer Diesel Engine Generator/Rectifier Sets. Generator/Rectifier output must be capable of providing 325KW Direct current, and 15KW auxiliary (hotel) 120V single phase A/C. System shall be capable of producing its specified DC and AC auxiliary output continuously and simultaneously and each (AC/DC) shall be capable of sustaining intermittent overloads of 19% for 120 minutes, and 50% for one (1) minute. The generators shall be self exciting, brushless and shall conform to NEMA MG-1. Maximum voltage rating for the main generator shall be 480VAC. 6 each with scheduled delivery dates from March 1997 through November 1999. Inspection, testing, and acceptance shall be performed at the contractor's facility, and witnessed by Government Representative(s). Sets shll be capable of fitting through crane openings of 5' width x 17' length for two (2) sets, 5' width x 19'6'' length for two (2) sets, and 7' width x 20' length for two (2) sets. Drawings will be provided with the solicitation. Delivery to be F.O.B. destination Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Hawaii within specified delivery schedule.
