This is a sources sought synopsis to determine the availability of an exisiting 100 KW, 400 Hertz, alternating current (AC), diesel driven generator set. The generator should be either skid mounted, or mounted on up to an approximately 3 1/2 ton trailer. The generator set shall be rated at 0.8 power factor lagging and shall supply 120/208 and 240/416 3-phase (4-wire) AC voltages. The generator set shall have an automatic parallel circuit to parallel two generator sets together. Audio noise level of the generator set shall not exceed 84 dBa. The engine of the generator set shall meet 1997 EPA requirements for an non-road engine. The generator set manufacturer shall be the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The OEM must have manufactured and previously provided the generator set to commercial industries with a traceable record. The generator set must have proven reliability and should have a Mean Time Between Failure rate of 600 hours or better. The generator set frequency regulation shall be +/- 0.1% (Maximum +/- 1%). The generator voltage regulation shall be 1% of the rated voltage (Maximum +/- 2%). The generator set exhaust muffler shall be inside the enclosure to dissipate low emitted heat. The generator set mounted on the trailer shall be equipted with a 5 LB fire extinguisher, tool box and cable box for approximately 50 feet of power cable. The generator set manufacturer must have a proven, traceable, logistic support system for parts, maintenance and service.
