J -- ON-CALL ENGINEERING FIELD MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES FOR SATELLITE TERMINALS. SOL DAAB07-97-R-A255 DUE 120996 POC Maria K. Festa, (908) 532-5548, Contract Specialist Rick N. Services and materials to provide on-call engineering field maintenance and repair of various Satellite Terminals and other integral Defense Satellite Communications Systems (DSCS) equipment for a period of forty eight(48) months. A non-competitive negotiation is proposed with Lockheed Martin, Western Development Labs, San Jose, CA IAW FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i). The Government does not possess any Level III drawings and/or technical data required to complete this effort. Lockheed Martin is the only known source with the in-depth knowledge and personnel available and in place to respond on an emergency basis IAW the SOW. Lockheed Martin has designed, developed and fabricated all of the subject equipment and currently provides vendor repair services to the military supply system. However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. See NOTES: 22 and 26. The U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) has established an Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) to provide electronic transmittal of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from Government to Industry. All interested parties wishing to do business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive data from the CECOM EBB system. To become a user of the EBB, you will need an identification code and password in addition to a computer terminal equipped with the necessary hardware and software to interface with the EBB system. A user's identification code and password will be issued upon request along with instructions for downloading the EBB User's Manual. All requests must include (1) company name, (2) point(s) of contact name(s) and title(s), (3) return address(es) and (4) telephone number(s).
