Q -- RESPIRATORY THERAPIST SERVICES SOL 538-7-97 DUE 120696 POC Joyce Andrews, Contracting Officer, 614-772-7013 Contractor to provide on-call services of a Certified Respiratory Therapist to perform health-related services including but not limited to pulmonary function testing, blood gas testing, ventilator care, oxygen setups, oxygen rounds, and performing EKGs for an estimated 1,080 hours per year to cover emergency absences and/or scheduled leave by VA Respiratory Therapists. Shifts of work are as follows: 7:30am-4:00pm, 4:00pm-12Midnight, 12Midnight-8:00am, and would include weekday and weekend coverage. All work must be performed at the VA Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio. Performance is for base year commencing 1-4-97 and two one-year renewal option periods. RFP to be issued on/about 11-6-96.
