This is a PRELIMINARY NOTICE to inform interested vendors that the Financial Management Service (FMS) will be using the Internet EXCLUSIVELY (NO HARD-COPY SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS WILL BE ISSUED) to distribute all solicitation documents for this requirement. Firms wishing to participate should familiarize themselves with the FMS Procurement Opportunities home page: http://www/ustreas.gov/treasury/bureaus/finman/procure.html. We anticipate that solicitation documents will be made available in the following formats: WordPerfect 6.0 for Windows, ASCII, Rich Text Format (RTF), and Portable Document Format (PDF). Due to their potential size, documents may be ``zipped'' (compressed). Firms should familiarize themselves with the above formats, and the procedures for ``unzipping'' files and downloading documents. It will be the responsibility of each firm to acquire, through its own means, the capability to access the Internet, unzip compressed files, and download documents.
