Obtain exclusive use fixed wing aircraft services for the Chatham and Ketchikan Area of the Tongass National Forest. Services which the aircraft will generally be required to perform include transportation of personnel, equipment and supplies; recon and observation; transportation of cargo; search and rescue; and fire support. The exclusive use contract will have a fixed hourly rate with a guaranteed number of hours for each area. Contract period will be for one year with two option renewals. A separate contract will be awarded for each area. Evaluation factors for award will include accident/flight safety; support capability; aircraft; flight crews seaplane experience; business practices; past performance; and price.
