The Government intends to issue a 5 year Indefinite Quantity Contract, with a minimum quantity of 84 each and a maximum quantity of 200 each. Delivery will be FOB Destination for the first ordering period and FOB Origin for the subsequent order periods. Required delivery when First Article Test is applicable is 24 each, 308 days after contract award and 30 each per month thereafter and production delivery without First Article is 24 each, 180 days after contract award and 30 per month thereafter. This procurment requires prequalification. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Source or Only a Limited Number of Responsible Sources. This proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government does not have specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The time required for approval of new supplies is such that award and delivery cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
