The HQ 38th Engineering Installation Wing has a requirement for contractors to perform the tasks of engineering, furnishing materials, installing, testing (EFI&T), and providing support construction for a wide range of Command, Control, Communication, and Computer Services systems to supplement the HQ 38 EIW's organic capability. Except for Government Furnished Property (GFP), the contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment and material necessary to accomplish the requirements. The contractor may be installing GFP in support of the requirements. Commercial procedures shall be used inaccordance with FAR PART 12. The contract term shall be for a one year base period with four one-year option periods. The contract type shall be firm-fixed price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity. A draft Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about 8 Nov 96 to obtain industry comments and feedback. The anticipated date for release of the final RFP is on or about 27 Jan 97.
