On behalf of the Naval Station Pascagoula, Fisc Norfolk Detachment Washington, D.C., intends to procure, on a full and open basis, 1 three tier paint float as specified by Naval Public Works Center design. The procurer will utilize technically acceptable and low price source selection procedures. The subject paint tier is required to be equipped with rubber marine fenders, structural steel and corrosion protection steel surface finishes. Specifications stipulate that the structure will be approxiamately 42 feet in height and 28 feet in length. The total weight with water is an estimated 300,000 lbs. The three tier paint float has been designed to accommodate LSD and ARS-51 Class ships. Note: The subject delivery and installation will be required at the Naval Station Pascagoula, Pascagoula, MS (F.O.B. Destination -- FAR Part 52.247-34 (Dec. 1991)).
