Vehicles will be delivered and picked up by the US Army, Fort Lewis, Washington. Contractor must be located within 25 miles of Fort Lewis, Washington. Minimum completion of ten vehicles per week is required. Contractor will remove the top coat of the three color camouflage Chemical Agent Resistant Coating (3C-CARC) paint and the white paint underneath. The primer will be furnished by the US Army. Contractor will be responsible for meeting OSHA and State of Washington standards for safety and paint operations. Formal announcement may also include standard contract requirements as required by Federal, State, and Local laws. Contractor does not have use of Government facilities. Unit reserves the right to inspect contractor's facility prior to award of contract. All requests for the quote must be either in writing or FAX request (206) 967-2772; telephonic requests are not accepted. The proposed procurement listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small business (SB) concerns. Interested SB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above, evidence of capability to perform. If adequate interest is not received from SB concerns, the quote will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as from SB concerns. Concern means any business entity organized for profit with a place of business located in the United States, including, but not limited to an individual, partnership, corporation, joint venture, association, or cooperative.
