A./lgcs/(210)977-2821 services non-personal for information warfare/command and control warfare (iw/c2w)-related technical and engineering services, including, but not limited to, engineering enalysis, studies, reports/briefings, engineering design, development of engineering drawings, specification and standards, modification of existing equipment, fabrication of prototypes/breadboards/brassboards, systems integration, experimentation, testing, research, EM radiation investigations, instrumentation, acquisition, safety, repair, software development, environmental compliance, logistics support, field demonstrations and support, reliability and maintainabililty, training, and participation at meetings and conferences. assets that may be typically included are various military and commercial ground vehicles/platforms (both fixed and mobile); all types of aerospace vehicles/platforms, and marine vehicle/platforms as well as electronic components that are mounted to or on these platforms. these services shall be provided in response to specific tasks identified by the joint command and control warfare center, directorate of operations support and technology integration (jc2wc/ot) through requests for services formally issued on delivery orders by the contracting officer. these services shall be performed at the contractor's or subcontractor's facility or at locations which may be deisgnated in each applicable delivery order. the primary purpose of these services is to provide technical and engineering assistance in response to needs identified by operational field commanders. the successful contractor must have a local office with a top secret facility clearance and personnel are required to have ts/sci clearance for performance. the resulting contract will be a requirements type consisting of a basic and four option years. the government intends to issue a draft solicitation. source selection procedures will be utilized for this acquisition. requests for solicitation package must be in writing. requests are to be faxed to (210)977-2980 with reference to the assigned solicitation number. no telephone requests will be accepted.
