Work includes the removal and disposal of asbestos contaminated material in the from of building roofing and siding, pipe insulation, duct insulation, building insulation and asbestos underlayment of lead floors. Buildings are constructed of concrete walls and floors, concrete block, wood, steel, and miscellaneous building materials. Some earth moving is required for filling and drainage. In addition, some utility lines (water, steam, air) will be required to he capped. Estimate range for the total effort is between $250,000 & $500,000. Bonds will be required. West Virginia Contractors License must be submitted prior to commencement of work by Contractor and all Subcontractors. $35 non-refundable fee payable to Alliant Techsystems must be submitted with written request to obtain plans and specifications.
