16 -- SPANISH RADOME/ANTENNA TEST SYSTEM (R/ATS) MAINTENANCE PROGRAM SOL N00019-97-C-0021 POC Contact, Kevin M. Kelly, Phone (703)604-6100 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a sole source contract on behalf of the Spanish Air Force to Scientific Atlanta Incorporated (S-A) to provide Contractor Engineering technical Services for the Spanish Radome/Antenna Test System located Albacete Spain. This effort will consist of two phases. The first phase shall consist of preventive and corrective maintenance, and on-site technical services for a five and one-half month period. The second phase shall consist of on-call corrective and preventive maintenance and technical services for a seven month period. The Government of Spain has identified S-A as the sole source provider of Contractor Engineering Technical Services for the R/ATS for the Spanish Air Force. NAVAIR intends to negotiate this procurement with Scientific Atlanta Incorporated, 3845 Pleasantdale Road, Atlanta, GA 30340-4266, th designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the R/ATS. S-A is the only known firm possessing the technical knowledge, expertise, and detailed familiarity with the design and modifications of the R/ATS that is required to provide the requiring activity with timely development nd integration of the required services and supplies.
