43 -- HELIUM COMPRESSOR MODULE SOL 53SBNB760009 DUE 110596 POC Trena Bercaw (301) 975-6324 The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for a Helium Compressor Module, Process Systems International Model RS. This unit consists of an unenclosed skid mounted rotary screw compressor with oil removal system; oil cooler and aftercooler. It includes safety interlocks and instruments and a separate reduced in-rush current motor starter for remote mounting. The compressor can be operated with suchtion as low as 0.5 atm and as high as 2 atm with a discharge as high as 18 atm in a sings stage. Supplier shall also provide an operations manual, installation, and interface drawings. This compressor is a replacement part, for an existing Helium refrigeration unit, manufactured by Process Systems International. Delivery is required within 90 days of award. The FOB Point is Destination, Gaithersburg, Maryland. It is the intent of the Government to negotiate with Process Systems International, 20 Walkup Drive, Westborough, MA 01581-5003, in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1), as the only responsible source able to supply the needs of the Government.
