The period of performance will be specified for a one year base period with four one year options. The current Pacific Communications (PACCOM) network at the University of Hawaii Nanoa (Honolulu) is the hub. From this hub, there are links to twelve sites over the Islands. Interested parties have until November 6, 1996 to submit their qualifications and capabilities (i.e., technical specifications). Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this synopsis. A determination by CSC not to compete this proposed continuation of service on a full and open competition basis, based upon the response to this synopsis, is solely within the disceretion of CSC.
