D -- REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF DESKTOP COMPUTERS, MODEMS, FAX MACHINES SOL NA DUE 111596 POC Bonnie Kennedy/011-49-611-816-2227 Wiesbaden Regional Contracting Center intends to award an indefinite delivery requirements type contract for the repair and maintenance of U.S. Government owned TIER III word/data processing systems under the responibility of 5th Signal Command in Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, The Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Italy. The contract will be for a base period and options to total 60 months. The contractor shall provide per-call repair and maintenance support including all labor, tools, test sets, and manufacturer's specification brochures. Repair parts shall be supplied on a cost-reimbursement basis. The equipment consists of central processing units primarily in desktop configuration, printers, various periferals for a variety of work/data processing equipment, and single user personal computers used by USAREUR supported units. The equipment manufacturers include Zenith, Apple, Unisys, CPT, Alps, 3M, Intel, Wyse, Everex, and other small firms within the data products arena, as well as IBM, HP, NEC, Wang, and other large firms.
