R -- V-22 TECHNICAL, ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT SUPPORT SERVICES SOL N00421-97-R-1035 DUE 011597 POC Becky Wathen, Contracting Officer, (301) 342-1827 Ext. 133. This requirement is for technical, engineering, and management support services for the V-22 Integrated Test Team located at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland. The successful contractor will perform systems engineering, analysis, development, and integration of warfare systems into Naval Aircraft. The V-22 Program involves a large percentage of the competencies at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division. A telecommunications network has been established for engineering/technical and business/financial/resources project reporting. This same network is used to communicate with the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM), other NAWCAD field activities and the two prime aircraft contractors. Tasks to be performed include supporting the V-22 Project Office in the operations, maintenance, and resource support areas. The contractor shall provide engineering and technical services in the area of aircraft weapon system testing for the V-22 Project Office. The contractor shall perform independent analyses, technical studies and management services for the V-22 Project Office in support of their programs. It is anticipated that a level of effort of 402,500 manyears of effort will be utilized over the five year period. The services are anticipated to begin 1 October 1997 and continue through to 30 September 2002. It is anticipated that an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract will be issued. Performance will be primarily at the Government facilities with a potion of the support to be at the Contractors facilities.
