LLOVET-ZURINAGA (508) 233-4146 (Site Code DAAK60) The U.S. Army Soldier Systems Command has a requirement for the procurement of Task Order Support Services for comprehensive mission support to U.S. Army Soldier Systems Command (SSCOM), U.S. Army Institute of Environmental Medicine (ARIEM), and related DOD activities (collectively referred to as the Government). Mission support is required in the areas of research, development, engineering, operations research, production engineering, test and evaluation, logistics support, and program management. This acquisition focuses on the following eight (8) functional areas: (1) Management and Administrative Support, (2) Science and Technology Support, (3) Engineering and Technology Support, (4) Integrated Logistics Support, (5) Operations Research Analyses, (6) Cost Analysis Support, (7) Drafting Support, and (8) Graphics/Audio Visual/Marketing Support. The Government anticipates that this acquisition will result in the award of multiple Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee/Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Task Order Contracts consisting of one basic and four (4) options years. SIC Code-8731 has been selected for this acquisition. This acquisition will be conducted as a full and open competition; however, it will include Small and Small Disadvantage Business Subcontracting Plans with goals of 5 percent for Small Disadvantage Business and 35 percent for Small Business based on the total value of the resultant contract. A Draft Request of Proposals (RFP) is scheduled for release on or about 8 November 1996. Comments on the Draft RFP are due by 22 November 1996. An Industry Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at U.S.Army SSCOM on 4 December 1996. The final RFP will be released on or about 9 December 1996.
