U -- EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CONFERENCE SOL DNA-EW7. Contact Points, Fred Jones or Joe Hylan 202/775-1440. NSIA's Expeditionary Warfare Committee, in coordination with the U.S. Navy (N85) and U.S. Marine Corps (PPO), will present it's 1996 Expeditionary Warfare Conference at the Marriott Resort Conference Center/Coastal Systems Station, Panama City, FL on 5-7 November 1996. The conference will focus on the needs of the forward deployed forces as they face new challenges in support of our national defense strategy. The first day will feature speakers from operational commands and the second day will feature program sponsors and acquisition professionals. The conference objectives are: to promote face-to-face dialogue between Navy and Marine Corps fleet operators, program sponsors, key acquisition professionals, and industry representatives to discuss the equipment needs of these forces. The activities will begin with a reception and dinner on Tuesday, 5 November at 6:30PM. Lt Gen Charles E. Wilhelm, USMC, Commanding General, U.S. Marine Forces Atlantic/Europe, will be the dinner speaker. Other activities include an open house/pig roast at the Coastal Systems Stations, organized spouse activities and an optional post conference gold tournament on Friday morning 8 November. There will also be members from the U.S. Hovercraft Society in attendance at many of the activities as they celebrate their 20th year reunion. Registration for this conference costs $375 for NSIA members companies reps; $450 for non-NSIA company reps; $350 for government attendees; and $120 for a spouse/guest.
