Performance period is seventy five (75) calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed, with an estimated start date of 041797. Scope of work include but is not limited to removing existing roofing in its entirety and immediately installing a vapor barrier over the entire deck; removing and legally dispose of existing aggregate surfaced B.U.R., vapor barrier, walkway treads, metal counter flashings, fabric base flashing, thermo-setting insulation, etc and preparing slab for new roofing assembly; installing new tapered insulations, fiberboard overlayment, aggregate surfaced B.U.R., fabric base flashings, metal counter - flashings, roof drain strainers, liquid waterproofing, etc.; and removing all construction equipment, etc., repairing and restoring all items of elements of construction disturbed by work of the contract, and fulfill all post construction requirements as specified. The estimated cost range for this project is between $100,000 and $500,000. Specifications will be available on or about December 2, 1996. Sealed bids will be opened publicly on January 3, 1997, at 2:00 p.m. (Chicago time). This proposed contract is being solicited on a total Small Business Set-Aside basis.
