58 -- AN/ARC-210(V) ELECTRONIC PROTECTION RADIO SET SOL N00019-95-C-0004 POC Contact, Brian Neiheisel, Phone (703)604-2119 This synopsis supplements synopsis #50057-96 published on 23 September 1996. On a sole source basis, the Naval Air Systems Command intends to contract with Rockwell International Corporation, Collins Avionics and Communications Division (CACD) of Cedar Rapids, IA to acquire, including options, AN/ARC-210(V) Radio Set components, which include approximately 90 RT-1747B Receiver-Transmitters for integration on the EA-6B to support aircraft specific controller functions for the USQ-113 ECM Jammer, 20 AM-7526 High Power Amplifiers, and 20 MX-11641 Low Noise Amplifier/Diplexers with High Power RF Switching units to support laboratory integration and testing at the Naval Research and Development Center. This contract is to include all associated supplies, support and technical data. CACD is the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the AN/ARC-210(V) radio, and is the only firm with the necessary knowledge, data, equipment, and experience to perform this effort within the time constraints of the U.S. Navy.
