Terminal Development office (ESC/MCP) at Electronics System Center,
Hanscom AFB, is seeking information to determine the availability of
Non Developmental Item (NDI) UHF SATCOM DAMA-capable diplexers. The
diplexers will be used with full duplex UHF DAMA SATCOM terminals on
aircraft with a single SATCOM antenna. In the SATCOM mode the normal
transmit power is 100 watts in the frequency range of 292 to 318 mHz.
The SATCOM mode receive frequency range is 243 to 270 mHz. This notice
is a MARKET SURVEY ONLY. Participation in this market survey will be
SOLELY AT THE VENDOR'S EXPENSE. This announcement/market survey may
lead to a future procurement activity but is not to be construed as a
RFP/IFB nor as Government intent to issue a RFP/IFB. We are seeking to
gain information on the status of performance, product maturity, and
availability of diplexers. Interested vendors must contact the
contracting officer within ten (10) working days of the publication of
this announcement. Vendors declaring their interest in providing
diplexers shall provide non-proprietary specifications, not to exceed
five (5) pages, and the development/availability schedule for their
product. The Government will use the information obtained from this
notice to understand the capabilities of the marketplace. This synopsis
does not constitute a RFP or an Invitation For Bid (IFB) and is not
intended to be construed as a commitment by ESC. Small businesses,
