59 -- PROCUREMENT OF AMODSM UNITS SOL N00019-95-C-0199 POC Contact, Christie Savage, Phone (703)604-2119 Lockheed Martin was awarded a development contract for the Advanced Message Oriented Data Security Module (AMODSM) in June 1995. The contract provided options for production units in quantites ranging from 100 to 700 units and an option for 20 EDM units. Additional near term requirements for the production and EDM units have been identified requiring the procurement of additional quantities. The total production and EDM units are 1565 and 40 units, respectively. The procurement will be sole source with Lockheed Martin as they solely possess the engineering and manufacturing capabilities for this development item.
