Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) intends to purchase two (2) 2500/3000 KVA (OA/FFA) Outdoor Rectifier Transformers and a SCR Controlled Twelve (12) Pulse, Continuous Duty, AC to DC Converter for Brookhaven's STAR Main Magnet Power Supply. The Transformers shall be rated at 13.8 KV to 333 volts, 4,330 amperes. The rectifier module shall be used to convert 333 volts (+15 degrees) and 333 volts (-15 degrees) into 825 VDC, 5,300 amperes, 4.37 MW, highly regulated fully controlled power.
