The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, MD has a requirement for three hundred forty (340) 6 Volt Utility Lights to be installed in the Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) upgrade to the F-14A/B aircraft. The requirements for the 6 Volt Utility Lights are as follows: 1) the assembly shall provide both white light and NVIS Compatible Green A illumination. In the NVIS mode, the illumination shall meet all requirements of MIL-L-85762A for a Type I, Class A system; 2) the lighting assembly shall include a locking feature to preclude inadvertant locking of the incompatible white light during NVIS missions; 3) the assembly shall provide an offset base with an alligator spring mounting clip and shall provide 360 degree rotation in the horizontal axis and 180 degree rotation in the vertical axis. This action is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this acquisition is 3648. Delivery is required within 12 weeks after award to NAWCAD, Patuxent River, MD. Award will be made to the low-price/technically acceptable offer.
