The Information Management Department of the Corporate Operations Competency of the Eastern Area Command, Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement for maintenance software/hardware of Apple Macintosh and IBM-compatiable microcomputers. The maintenance services to be furnished under the resultant contract may be performed at the following locations. Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, VA; Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD; Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Indianapolis, IN; Naval Air Engineering Station, Lakehurst, NJ; Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, FL; and Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River and St. Inigoes, MD. The objective of the resultant contract will be to provide timely analytical and technical support to and maintain and/or upgrade Federal Information Processing Systems. The maintenance required includes all microcomputer and peripheral equipment, and embedded software supporting EAC sites and NAVAIR. The PPM for this contract is 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Government holidays observed at the installation. It is anticipated that a Time and Materials contract with fixed rates will be awarded for one base year and four one year options. This prospective contract has been identified for 8(a) contracting under the authority of the Small Business Act, 15 U.S.C. 637 (a) Section 8(a).
